I'd like to know everyone's thoughts about our nation's infrastructure and rise in awareness of funding needs. Please take a look at the link below where you can select your state and view infrastructure grades on everything from drinking water to highways.

I'm a civil engineer and a new member to AoM. Perhaps we can induce some thoughtful discussion about the importance of infrastructure funding. Infrastructure Report Cards by State

Low to the ground, in between your bedroom and the ac/heat unit (I'd suggest closer to the unit).

Hello.

First off, thank you Sean Grogan! Nice of you.

Second, I have a book some of you might be interested in perusing. Engineers in combat and a damn good read.

It's called FIRST ACROSS THE RHINE by Col. Pergrin. 291st Engineer Combat battalions actions in WWII. Makes me want to go build something!

Required Reading

There's a similar thread right now but it's bizarre and spammy. So. What, in your opinion, is required reading to be part of the human race? What is absolutely essential, whether it be philosophy, history, religion, or even classic fiction or poetry?See More
