We all have stuff , our houses are full of it , and l am on a quest to reduce what l do have , and the things that l want to surround myself with l want to be pieces of art in there own right and be of good quality that will stand the test of time , and l am sure there are others out there that share my view , nothing is to trivial or extravagant , put up a request and lets see if anyone can help out with options .

I'm one of those craftsman or at least strive to. Everytime I see something I like, more often an antique, I redesign myself with a little twist to make an original. I love leather products and will be posting more of my own soon. Ultimate goal is in the next 5-10 yrs after I retire from the USMC is to provide people with beautiful one of kind furniture and leather goods! Brian I think you and I have an eye and appreciation for the same things look forward to seeing more of your awesome finds!
Comment by Brian Splash on May 11, 2012 at 5:16pm Welcome to the group Timothy , You are dead on right with the pieces that will last a lifetime , and with members help we will find those craftsmen still making and selling there wares .
Brian this group is perfect! I'm glad I'm not the only person out there that loves and appreciates quality handmade craftsmanship. Things I carry on a normal day, 96 yr. old Parker mechanical pen, 70 yr old Parker 51 fountain pen, Case XX pocket knife, handmade coin pouch from latigo leather that will last several lifetimes, a turquoise ring made by a Zuni Indian, handmade bandana made from vintage 100% cloth. The list goes on and on, I can't go to many days without stopping by an antique store and finding that can't live without accessory or trinket that reminds me when things were made with pride!
