Who amongst us, having been thus far slighted by Emperor, Monarch, Sovereign, Pasha, or Czar, feels that the hour-- nay, the moment-- has arrived when one should be duly accorded the accolade of knighthood?

I refer not to the assumed wearing of some ersatz trinket pendant from a tawdry ribbon around one's neck-- a veritable social hangman's noose if ever there was one -- but to the bladed accolade that accompanies one's reception into a confraternity of like-minded gentlemen possessed of those certain chivalric virtues which pass unheralded by today's conformist classes.

Gentlemen, I ask: Who amongst you will answer the call to the chivalric crusade?

I'll offer up my steel!

And I, my bow!

Your Lordship, you never cease to amaze.  I would love to see the contents of your walk-in closet....
You might want to give that idea a second thought- many who have entered that closet were never seen again.
Rather a modest jewel, pendant from the proper fillet or riband of narrow woven fabric, commonly silk, than trying to discern across a smoky parlor the exact color and stripe of a chap's necktie; might give him the wrong sign and handshake, what?
I have my ambitions of becoming a Duke and behaving utterly disgracefully.

All you need to do is to purchase an estate with an attached landed title. Quite simple, actually. It might even come complete with a seat in the House of Lords.

I prefer the path of subterfuge...(just off the A6).
I say, I hope this "chivalry" fad doesn't interfere with my work in the Chappist Monks.  I flagellate myself twice daily, you know.  Will a sword be a proper accessory with my Monk wardrobe of bowler, bow-tie, and saffron robe?

My Battle axe and Helm!  My musket at your service Sir!!

Sir Danny Mason HKtB...(Knights Templar of Brittany)

I have somewhere in the castle, a choice (or smallish) selection of bladed weaponery, with its ancestry from around 1000 ad to around late 1400, which I on occasion have used in jousting matches on foot, when I was so inclined... ;-D
Now that we have our core of Knightly Knights, whom shall we crusade against?

Appropriate Interview Suit?

I just graduated from college and will begin the "look for a real job" process soon. I have this suitits very slim, and the pants are low rise and really tight. It is a perfect fit on my slim frame, but I was wondering if it is appropriate for interviews. My mom thinks its a little too trendy or unprofessional looking for the middle-aged men and women executives…See More
