I was curious on your guys thoughts about certain things when  thinking about dating women. What about chrsitian women who do certain bad things like smoke weed and get drunk. Now i know that no one is perfect, but should a christian man who wants to try to date a women who's kinda of a bad girl, date her based on the principles of the bible. Like I know iron sharpens iron, but still i just don't know an exact answer. Also, what you you guys think about dating a woman who has already had sex with another guy and the man, who wishes to date her, is trying to wait until marriage? Should he not try to date her or should he?

That's a good way of putting it, Thanks Man.

I agree dude, it's hard sometimes to come by christian girls these days.

Hmm.  What is a good christian woman?  Clean cut?  Seams like most are, unless your looking in clubs or something.

Unless you mean submissive to church doctrine...I'd rather an empowered woman who challenges me intellectually, and sets the example for my future female children to pursue higher education.

In short date some college grads, young professionals (where age appropriate.)

Ya, I plan on transferring to Central Methodist University this fall, which will be a good place to keep my eye open.

I think you've kind of demonstrated the problem.  Why should orthodox correspond to submissive and disempowered?

Whoever would be greatest among you must be a servant of all.  Which gives high hopes for all of us, if we submit to each other, as all are called on to do.

Submission doesn't appeal to me either, but God has different ideas.

What are your principles on pre-marital sex?  Stick with them or change them.

What are your principles on drinking and drug use?  Stick with them or change them.

Why are you asking, are you not sure what your principles are regarding these topics?

He's a kid.  Cut him some slack.

I found AoM while re-evaluating my principles on the topic at hand. I'd come to conclusions before I made an account, but I'd hate to think these questions are off-limits here.

Oh, you're welcome BTW.
