I bought a set of battery powered led Christmas lights.  2AA batteries zippy tied to the dogs collar, i then wrapped her in the lights. was funny watching the dog wander around the backyard at night lit up like a Christmas tree!

Elliott, thanks for the vote of confidence. I appreciate it. There are lots of homeless dogs who need good homes.

I live just a few blocks from the dog beach. I never tire of watching the dogs playing on the sand and in the water. They seem to be having a lot of fun. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement.

"The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis is always a great re-read.  It only takes a few hours to read and it's got great insights in it.  It's a religious book, so if you're into that, as I am, it's a great book!  "
