I have been working a start-up recently to give me something to do after retirement and a little extra income. The business has recently been registered as a corporation with the Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission. Nowhere to go but up now! Anyone out there looking to do business in Southeast Asia should drop me a line.

I've held jobs, lost and found jobs (all three sometimes easily and sometimes not so), started businesses (ditto), and really do want to start another one. But how to convince my wife that it's less risky -- or at least no more risky -- than a "real" job these days?

One thing I know I need both at home and whatever I'm doing for work: how to pitch -- there's a book Good in a Room and maybe even her coaching or at least webinars: www.goodinaroom.com

Hello, my name is Starkovich from Texas.  I'm launching a lifestyle consulting and management business.  I am on Facebook right now, but will be doing a website in the next months.  I am going to be focusing on helping people who want to move from one social class to another by teaching them the rules and strategizing their lives to be who they want to be.  I will also help them network with others to have relationships to replace the ones they may be required to leave behind in their pursuits.

Thomas, I use the normal social networks (Facebook, twitter) I have recently added Pinterest which is really unique and a lot fun.  I wrote an article about it and will post it when it is published.
