I'd love to know what the AoM community recommends for graphic novel reads? Reply back with your picks. After we get a good collection together, maybe we could have a vote for a top 10 list of must read graphic novels?
The Walking Dead - a zombie book on the surface, but really about being human in a crazy world. The protagonist is someone who exemplifies many of the principles promoted here at AOM. There's a new omnibus out which costs about $60, but it's worth every penny.
The Goon - probably the opposite of Walking Dead, although it also contiains zombies. It's alternatively and simultaneously violent, funny, sentimental, goofy, and brilliant. Eric Powell's art and writing are both top-notch.

"So did I. But, it keeps getting worse. Good grief.
I thought Daniel's initial smart-assed "must've prayed for a tornado" thing was obnoxious under the circumstances ... but Herb matched-and-raised before I…"
