If you'll be there in time, I strongly suggest trying to make it to the American Craft Beer Festival. http://beeradvocate.com/acbf/

I´ll be moving to Boston in about two months and will be living their for at least a year. So far I have visited Stoddard´s (which I absolutely loved) and also another spot called The lower depths. Anyone know other good spots to have some good craft beer? I guess San Diego has sort of spoiled me but I´m looking forward to trying some east coast brews for a change

Hey guys,  if you're in the Cincinnati area, we've got a bunch of new breweries springing up these days.  We checked out 50 West Brewing Company last month right before the Super Bowl.  Can't wait to visit the next place that pops up.

Daniel, if you're ever doing a very long beer run to Ontario to pick up some Barking Squirrel, please swing by St. John's first and bring me a case of India Beer.

Well, I don't know if this beer was suggested, and it's reasonably tough to get your paws on, unless you're in Ontario, Canada (though I have found a source out here in the great province of Newfoundland, if I'm willing to drive a bit)... Barking Squirrel from Hop City Brewery (in Brampton, I believe) is an awesome beer. I first had it on tap in Niagara Falls in July last year, and loved it ever since.  Give 'er a shot if you get the chance!

I have finally come to the conclusion that overall, I am a Sam Adams guy as far as the bigger names go.

That being said, I have soft spots for most things made by the Leinenkugel Brewing Company, as well as Lazy Magnolia out of Mississippi...and most Red Ales.

NOT really a fan of most lighter beers, especially Pilsners.

I'm just happy to finally know what I identify with now.

Hey guys, new to the group.  Life @ Geoff M, I like the Muskoka Brewery.  I grew up in the Kawarthas, not too far from there. (And Kawartha Lakes Brewery has a decent raspberry wheat beer worth checking out).

I think I'll crack open a Wolfgang while I peruse the postings in this group.  Cheers!

One of my favorite small breweries is Muskoka Brewery out of Bracebridge, Ontario. They have a few staples, my favorite being their Mad Tom IPA, as well as seasonal brews. Definitely worth a try.

Enjoying some Sierra Nevada Narwhal Imperial Stout.  Somewhat bitter for the style, but pairs very well with a good brownie.  Cheers!

The Great Debate

"Iron sharpens iron." A place for men to impact each other by debate and exchange of ideas. This is a group where no ideas are off limits. If your motto is, "I never talk about politics or religion," this group is probably not for you. A "gym" for thinkers.See More
