I use a basic brown sugar rub, when i go Low n Slow. For seasoning, gotta go with my homemade, Desert Dustin', not too Spicy, but has a noticeable kick to it

Being a Kansas City boy, I use a basic KC rub i got off the Smoke Ring.  Then I adjust it according to what I  am cooking.

I like some kick with my rub. Cayenne and chili powder works for me along with kosher salt and brown sugar and my secret ingredient. Mmm mmmm. Mmm.

Smoked salt, brown sugar, dried garlic flakes, paprika, chunky pepper, dry mustard and whatever else isn't nailed down powdery (it's never the same recipe). Slow cook it all day with Mexican-style corn (butter, slather some mayo, sprinkle cotija cheese and pico de gallo), my famous garlic bread and I swear I hear Disney cartoon birds singing my praises.
