I grew up in the Dallas area and then I lived in Lubbock for 2 years during college. You can't be told what West Texas wind is you must experience it for yourself. No matter what you are wearing the wind cuts right through it down to your bones.

 

After spending a couple of weeks in Lubbock my roommate and I were in our dorm watching the weather and they said there was a wind advisory for tomorrow. We were not used to the wind and thought we had been fighting heavy winds for the previous couple of weeks. Apparently that was nothing and tomorrow there was need for an advisory; we were quite interested to see what would warrant a wind advisory.

25th reunion this year.........my buddies are gonna kick my #@!$# when they see my ring.......I dont wear it in NYC as its too flashy- I may be called a 2 percenter............
