I still listen to my albums and 45's. I have a portable turn table that runs on batteries and a power cord. I have many out of print records that are not available on CD. Jay

I used to be a DJ and co-founded an indie electronic music label that pressed its own records.

Hello, i'm new to the group.  I've collected 2k+ in viny.  I love the sound, the feel.  I purchase new and old vinly. My girlfriend got me 500 records for Christmas.  I'm still going through the trenches on that one.

I have well over 100 pieces of vinyl mostly country music and Elvis records I've inherited from my parents and grandma respectively. I am building it up week by week..with whatever extra I have to spend. My preference for new vinyl..metal and punk music however.

Bryan Castro replied to Hyrum Higgins's discussion We didn't kiss
"I agree with Sam here.  However, all is not lost. Ask her out again and when it feels like you want to kiss her...go for it.  Give us a progress report - no details necessary - just a thumbs up perhaps! Good luck!"

Bryan Castro replied to Michael Presto's discussion Knife talk.

QuackXP replied to Regular Joe's discussion What Are Respectable Watch Brands
"Lots of fashion watches have poor quality movements. So about the time they go out of fashion even if you wanted to keep wearing them they are dead anyway. Also some geek out (like me on some watches) about the design and engineering that went into…"
