So many terrific hiking opportunities. I have been trying to do a hike every weekend. This weekend, I am hoping to do a hike in the Little Cottonwood Canyons, assuming the snow is not too bad. Any…Continue

Dancing

I'm a California native, and have been out here for just under a year now.  My culture's idea of dancing is bumping and grinding, so I've never gotten into it.  Now that I'm out here, I've noticed…Continue

Richard, thanks for the tip.

The wait for good snow continues. Surprisingly good weather lately.

Hey Wasatch

Snow Basin up east of Ogden I'm told is a great place to ski.  You can get up from Sandy/ Salt Lake on the Front Runner train.

What are some of your favorite Christmas events in SLC?

Since I moved here, the wife and I never really explored the different holiday offerings. Now that we have a little one, I suppose I am wanting to become more festive.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Someone told me about the Weber polar express train.

Do you guys ski or snowboard? I heard that Powder Mt., which is up your gents' way, is pretty spectacular.

I like in Sandy and moved here 5-6 yrs ago from Washington (state).

Just to sign in!  I am from California, but have been in Ogden since 1959.  Would like to get together sometime with other AOM members from around Ogden.

Nice to see so many other Utahns! I grew up mostly in Layton utah, currently living in SLC.

For hobbies, I enjoy reading, swimming, getting massages, snuggling with friends, and especially video games.

Guess I'll check in. Grew up in Colorado but I've been in Utah for 10+years. Most recently moved up to Logan for schooling.

Been married 8 years with 3, soon to be 4, strapping young lads.

hobbies are sadly lacking but with the help of AoM I'm picking a few back up, starting with mace/Indian club training.

Good morning Utah. Glad to see such a strong showing! I live in Orem with my wife and two girls. I am an independent financial planner. I mostly focus (mostly, not exclusively) on military families debt, savings, and investments. For hobbies I read, write, hike, flyfish, bird hunt (no dog anymore though), and shooting, though no longer competitive. I look forward to meeting all of you somewhere down the road!

Sir replied to Mongoose's discussion Methinks "Manly" is a Misnomer?
"I am not sure they exist, but if they do: are they right? These definitions say they aren't. If people think it's honorable to lie, cheat, and steal, this doesn't redefine "honorable," but only shows their lack of it."
