Win the Audio Footnote iPhone App Plus Audio Book The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt

AoM Community member and the man who designed Art of Manliness, Eric Granata, has created an amazing new iPhone App called Audio FootNote. Have you ever been listening to an audio book or a podcast and you heard something that you wanted to make a note of and remember? Well, with Audio Footnote now you can. You can instantly record notes while listening to podcasts and audio books on your iPhone. As soon as you're done making your note, you can go right back listening to your audio book right where you left off.

After that, you can browse your notes by part, episode, or recently recorded. No more forgetting those moments of inspiration you've received while listening to an audio book.

Sounds cool, huh? Ready to get your hands on a copy? The app goes for $2.99 in the app store, (not bad for such an awesome app) but Eric's giving away a free copy of his app plus a free copy of The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt audio book to one lucky AoM Mac user.

To enter the contest, simply leave a comment in the contest discussion telling us what podcast or audiobooks you'd use Audio Footnote with.

Deadline to enter is Monday, May 3 2010 at 11PM CST. Good luck!

I always forget about the Activity monitor! It might help when I'm playing WoW and get those slow-downs!

I just wish I could replace my video card myself... The Old Republic (beta, via Boot Camp, unfortunately) is amazing!

I've got an early 2010 MacBook Pro 13". Came with Snow Leopard installed. I upgraded to Lion and ever since then I haven't had any problems. My 2006 iMac is still running on Tiger. I haven't upgraded that since my mother has been using it since her PC crapped out on her.

Has anybody else had a problem with Lion slowing down their machine?  I have a late 2006 20" iMac.  2.16 GHz Core 2 Duo with 4 GB RAM. Tiger was nice, Leopard was even nicer, Snow Leopard turned my machine into a crazy speed machine.  I upgraded to Lion a couple weeks after they released it.  Over time it has made my Mac super slow.  Have any of you experienced the same thing?

Hi all! I got my own first laptop (macbook 13") in 2009 for school and I love it! I have been largely an Apple fan since I first saw the abilities of Mac OSX compared to another OS which shall not be named... Owning a Mac has just made the love stronger.
