WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE is all about animals—both wild and domesticated—and the complicated relationship we have with them.
As listed above, posts can consist of anything related to animals: science, evolution, behavior, food production, humane living, or family pets.
Whether you work with animals or if you’re just a nature lover, this group will hopefully have something for you. I look forward to your contributions.

Comment by Shane on December 16, 2012 at 6:13pm I couldn't complain. I was in a coma.
Yeah, well, Shane, I didn't hear you complaining none.
Comment by Tor on December 16, 2012 at 5:19pm Ha!
Comment by Shane on December 16, 2012 at 5:15pm To access its poison, a slow loris rubs its hands under glands near its armpits—"kind of like Molly [Shannon] from Saturday Night Live," Munds quipped. Then the animal applies the poison to its teeth, and the resulting bite can put a person or predator into potentially fatal anaphylactic shock.
We may call this behavior bizarre, Dallas calls it, date night.
That is interesting. Thanks for posting.
