Hey guys, I just wanted to say thank you all so much. Brett, you deserve extra thanks but everyone else's comments have helped me realize that I am not alone in feelings I have and in where I am in my life. Today is the final day of my internship in Schwabenheim, Germany and these past two months have been an incredible learning experience, both at the company and outside it.

These past two months have truly been the only time I've ever felt alone and lonely, I speak no German and generally the only people who speak english are the people I work with. I have had to learn to get around living on my own in this small guesthouse at this winery and to be honest, this website has been an incredible guide for me. All the personal experiences people write about in the blogs and all the constant push to be a better man has gotten me through a lot.

I am giving a presentation of my work today and then I am going to Munich with a friend of mine who has studied in Paris this past semester. I fly back to Omaha on Monday to see my family for a few weeks and to write the MCAT before I head back to Vancouver. I just really wanted to say I truly appreciate this site and the people who use it, even though we're miles apart and may never meet face to face, you guys, as well as my father and some friends, have been my mentors and I want this to continue in the future. Thank you again.

I've managed to keep up on every task during my travels through Paris (journal post: examined balls in France, haha) except shoe shining which I intend to do shortly. I'm off to Barcelona this weekend and then back to Geneva. I can take what you throw at us Brett! Well, back to writing "If", hope it sticks.
