OK I'm late but-I liked this one, I see lots of guys looking like they're ashamed of themselves and all they need to do is stand up straight! It really gives an impression of confidence and superiority of sorts, and adds a bit of pride to your step. Working out is an excellent twofold way to perfect your posture- your get stronger and in shape, and it automatically improves body mechanics. Good work gentlemen!
I attempted to keep an eye on this today, but it's definitely something that is going to take a while to build into a habit. I work on dual monitors all day and have a tendency to lean forward when focusing on a CAD design file.
Life long sloucher. I am tall, and sometimes feel a bit out of place, so I slouch a bit to feel more in line with everyone else. enough of that. time to sit and stand up straight.
I've actually been doin' this for a while. Since I always have had a bad posture. But since my basketball coach took me aside after a game, and we talked a lot about how to sit/stand properly. At some points it has encreased my self-confidence, but as a ball player I am also WAY faster.. So this was really a good post for those who are slouching.
