Shiny pebbles...

Bolo tie or Ring ?

I don't know.  I just have a special place in my heart for opals, and especially the crystal opals from Ethiopia.

Beautiful stones.

Thought you were trying to hypnotize me with that video, asked the wife if I clucked like a chicken after watching it.

The pinfire IS extra beautiful, in that particular stone.

Or, with some judicious shopping, one of these...

I'll take the cash and put it toward something.

My bad. Everything I can think of is over that amount.

Actually raises an interesting question.  My wife and my 10th Anniversary is 12/14 -- she wants to get me a compound bow or crossbow (she's definitely a keeper).

I've always wanted one, but honestly know nothing about them.  We're looking in the $300-$500 range.  Anybody have any solid crossbow or compound bow recommendations?  I know Daryl on The Walking Dead uses a Horton Scout, which runs about $300.  Not sure if its actually any good, though.
