OK - just had to post someplace where GUYS would understand (I've been told 'You're such a girl' when it comes to shoes)

My AE McNeil Color #8 Cordovan wingtips came in.  Had to order them, as there wasn't a pair in 9.5 EEE anywhere in the country.  Was told '5 weeks', but got them in 3 or 4.  Man do they FIT well , which is why I didn't go with the Alden - the different lasts.  Tried both on (they had the AE in BLACK, but) and for MY feet the AE fit better

Happy Dance, except for the fact it is supposed to snow tonight, so there is NO way I'm wearing them tomorrow

It's arbitrary to post pictures of said product when you woot , otherwise it's a Charlie horse and a Chinese burn to you sir .

Very nice.

Indeed they look very nice

Hi KG2V

This is K6AIF- which makes sense only if you're a Ham.

That aside. To me Wingtips are strictly detective's footwear but that's MY steriotype and from your pic you MAY be one!

Again--aside from that WHY should anyone have a comment about very formal footwear, your pic shows you wearing a white shirt and dark suit so that's probably YOU!

Look at my page and you'll guess I wear shoes much different, Tasseled loafers but again, I'm in California!

To me there's another theme here-- Women can wear ANYTHING!! Go to Sears and you'll find that a woman can buy a miniskirt or an outfit just like yours but tailored yet we "poor insecure" guys MUST have our shirts buttoning to the right or we're --gay?

It's time we got over it and adopted a MEN'S  style of clothing  that mirrors what we are that differientates us from women!

Suggestions??

I work in finance a lot of the time, so dark suit, formal shoes...

Very nice!! I'm looking into picking up a pair of AE Wilberts soon.  Can't wait!

The shoes are actually back at AE! After 1st wearing, the center point of one of the tips came loose. The stitching didn't go all the way to the point. Brought them to the store, and they were sent back to the recrafting division for repair
