I don't know how many of you guys heard about this in the news today, but today 4 women filed a suit against the Department of Defense over the rules that exclude women in combat. My college class discussed this issue today and of no consensus was met. Just wonder how you guys or gals feel about this issue. Should they let the ladies fight? If yes, in what capacity? Heres an article about it incase you missed it. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/27/women-in-combat-defense-de...

I say let them fight but they have to be as physically fit as their male counterparts. I know in many fields (I am unsure of american military standards) such as the Canadian Forces the requirements for females are far less then a male. Which seems... well blatantly unsafe. If my life depends on the person beside me I want to know they are as physically capable as the next person.
If you cannot physically do the job then find another one. (I know this post is about armed services/combat But I feel my statement stands for any profession or line of work).
