I have only been dating this woman for a few months now, and it's the first time I have been with anyone but my Ex-wife for Christmas for some years now. So I am a little rusty on what would be considered a good first X-mas gift for the new woman in your life.I welcome any suggestion... Thanks

One more thing: nothing the size and shape of an iPod shuffle box. In other words, nothing the size and shape of a ring box. This includes earrings. It may have just been a few months, but you don't want to put any engagement ring ideas in her head.

A present sends a message.  Jewelry is a very strong message; don't do it if you're just hangin' out w/o serious intentions.  (I think cheap surfer's beads are an exception.)  Love notes, too.  Flowers are nice.

So:  if you're very very serious, jewelry, love notes.

If you're not that far, something that shows you were listening when she talked.  Something she mentioned she would want.

Oh, and my wife points out that when we were engaged she got me a flying monkey.  So that's for if you're really serious. :o

My wife often gave me a flying monkey when we were engaged.

.

.

Not so much now that we're married.

Man all I can say is buying gifts for any girl or woman sucks, it would be nice if they'd be fine with just getting money and shopping for themselves but it doesn't work like that.  I found this website when I was looking online around Christmas time and it's worked out pretty nicely for me and has a few different options.  Check it out.
