A previous thread on this, including my own answer: http://community.artofmanliness.com/forum/topics/house-clothes
Thank you for that thread Will, I've been trying to find something like that.
I am a nudist. Think that answers it.
I do dress to conquer the day and dress to enjoy my off time. I have a few soft cotton button up shirts and cotton or linen trousers and some old well broken in slip on shoes.
Part of feeling successful is having the trappings of success.
What do you think is the appropriate attire for home?
Depends on the home. Mrs. Danger and I live alone (well, with 3 cats and 200K bees). We would dress differently if we had family living with us.
Do you have friends or neighbors who drop in?
Not many friends would mind how I dressed at home, but I try to dress the same as when I go out.
shorts and t-shirt.
I try and dress in a manner that i wont be embarrassed if someone unexpectedly shows up.
Usually shorts and no shirt, but I'm a teenager.
shorts, tank top and bare feet.
I tend to stick to jeans and a t-shirt along with sneakers. I usually change clothes when I get home from work just because I like to have the visual break from the work day.
I wear what ever is comfortable and easy to grab at the moment. Usually something that I can just add a shirt to and be presentable to the random house guest.
