Has any of you ever used "no homo" after a sentence, or thought about using it?
For the record, "no homo" does not indicate any kind of homophobia. It simply means, "I realize that what I just said might have a gay subtext, but don't worry; I wasn't implying anything of a homosexual nature."

By the way, I'm not suggesting that non-gay men necessarily should or should not use this phrase; I just want to get a read on who does. Your thoughts?

Permalink Reply by Christopher F. on March 26, 2013 at 11:09am I don't believe a man would ever say that.
If you're confident in who you are, you don't need to sub-title your own statements.
To me, having to quantify every statement that you didn't say it because you're not gay sounds a lot like homophobia. You know, not that there's anything wrong with that.
