I have had problems for years with my underwear bunching up. Boxers or boxer briefs, length doesn't matter. Unless I wear regular briefs, my underwear bunches up and it is extremely uncomfortable. I am sure the people around me are uncomfortable as well as I am constantly grabbing at my crotchal region trying to fix them. Anyone else have these issues as much as I do? Has anyone found boxer briefs that don't ride up?
I am thinking maybe I need to find the shortest boxer brief possible before they become briefs?

Just so much easier to pull down the elastic band. I've always wondered why they even bother to put that kind of fly into the design.

heck, i wander if the primary intention of the brief's fly is so that the garment can accommodate containing something of variable size. the two cloth panels can slide together or apart as needed. and then the *secondary* purpose to provide an exit for our one-eyed-BFF.
yeah, always faster, easier to just jump the fence.

Permalink Reply by Mike S. on November 27, 2012 at 5:55am I prefer the fly only because sometimes I might be lazy or sleepy and accidentally let go of my waistband.. and that is never good.
Permalink Reply by Rick Stevens on November 27, 2012 at 9:09pm I agree. I wind up doing the same most of the time.
Permalink Reply by Tim on December 14, 2012 at 10:06pm Depends on the briefs. Traditional briefs guy here, but different manufacturers make the process easier or more difficult.... Seems overly complicated regardless, though. I understand your frustration.
Permalink Reply by Jess Levens on November 26, 2012 at 12:50pm I have had this exact issue, and I have the solution:
UNDER ARMOUR boxer-jock. Best underwear I have ever worn. Cool, comfy, supportive, NEVER rides up.
