I have had problems for years with my underwear bunching up. Boxers or boxer briefs, length doesn't matter. Unless I wear regular briefs, my underwear bunches up and it is extremely uncomfortable. I am sure the people around me are uncomfortable as well as I am constantly grabbing at my crotchal region trying to fix them. Anyone else have these issues as much as I do? Has anyone found boxer briefs that don't ride up?
I am thinking maybe I need to find the shortest boxer brief possible before they become briefs?

Permalink Reply by The Dutch Dastard on November 24, 2012 at 6:45am I have the same problem, but only with tight boxers. I think it's because my legs are thicker than my butt, and sort of taper towards my crotch, so they kind of 'slip up'. I wear the sort of old school not tight cotton boxers, and then I'm always fine.
If I have to get into very tight pants (for rowing) I get some normal (tight) briefs. The things are going to be in my crack anyway, so I might as well eliminate the leg part altogether.
So...sorry, no. I haven't found boxer briefs that don't ride up. Best to wear something else.
Permalink Reply by Justin on November 24, 2012 at 7:34am I recently replaced a couple pairs that started getting holes. This time I decided to go with trunks instead of boxer briefs. I really enjoy that they have less material, they bunch up so much less.
Permalink Reply by Mike S. on November 24, 2012 at 7:51pm I have tried trunks too. There is less material to get bunched up, but it seems like that doesn't matter. I think I just need to hire someone to walk around and cradle my package for me with their hands.

Permalink Reply by Stein on November 24, 2012 at 2:22pm I like traditional boxers too. It helps to have shirts with good tails, and get them to surround your boxers as much as possible, so they cant move as much.

Permalink Reply by Mike S. on November 24, 2012 at 7:53pm I'm not a big fan of baggy boxers. While they give your boys room to breath, there is just way too much fabric. I typically wear boxer briefs and even with trunk style I get bunching.
Permalink Reply by Oddball on November 24, 2012 at 8:21am I prefer to go commando.
Boxers and all the rest are just diapers for boys who haven't grown up. You're one step closer to a colostomy bag already and you don't even know it.
