Men, I am in a bind of sorts.
I own a 1977 Corvette. Great shape, runs well. That is the good-
The bad is that i dont drive it but a few times a year, i dont have a Garage so it stays far away from me in a storage unit. I have to pay for storage and insurance blah blah.
So the issue is- i have something worth a little bit of money that i almost never use. There are certainly other things i could do with that money (like buy a motorcycle). Not sure if i should hang onto it and wait until i have some time and money to put into it or just sell it and get a new toy i can use more often.
Keep or sell.
Much more trouble than its worth. Sell.
"Toys" tend to sell easier and for more in the spring and early summer if you can hold onto it that long. On the other hand, a motorcycle might be cheaper now.
Do you have pictures to post here?
Not a bad looking car at all. L-48 or L-82?
48... so only has about 180 HP although it has more torque than the 84
Sell. It's not like it's a classic.
Shortly after this i thought a bit about what to do with it. Decided i should actually move rather than sell it. I need a garage, every man does. i like to do woodworking and there is just no room in my townhome, or the back porch to be specific. Moving closer to my work, getting out of the city, get a yard and a garage. sounds good to me.
I think if it was more readily available i would get more use out of it.
haha so rather than selling a car i dont use i decided to move to a new house. Shows some attachment i guess.
