Sport jacket and Jeans?
Hello Gentleman,
For years I have always wondered the appropriateness of wearing a sport coat with jeans. I personally think it is a little tacky but I am not always the best judge of style. I am referring to something like a nice tweed and a nice pair of jeans to compliment. Your thoughts?

a nice pair of dark (blue) jeans and a sport coat look fine. Dress you up slightly but not full out 'formal' or 'dressy'
I tend to wear just jeans, white tshirt, sport coat when I'm going out to the bar with my friends for a few rounds. Looks a little nicer, especially when compared to the guy i'm beside at the bar who's in your typical jeans/hoodie combo.
