I'm quite taken with her. I don't talk to many girls to be honest. You could describe me as shy, quiet boy who minds his studies. Anyway, none of this really matters. I'm quite a coward actually. As Gandhi once said "A coward is incapable of exhibiting love; it is the prerogative of the brave." So yea. I've never approached her before; she's most likely unaware of my existence as a human being. Point is: how do I approach her? What do I say? I know I should say "hello," or something, but reality is I don't see her very often. I maybe pass her in the hall, or see her walking to her next class, but that's it. I don't have time to get to know her during the school day. Any help would be appreciated. I thank you in advance.

Great minds.

Don't beg. Nut up and ask her to the f'n prom for Christssake! Whether you ask her and she says no or whether you don't ask -- the result is the same.

You ask her yet?

it makes me feel like an asshole for posting a clip from this movie... but the line kinda makes sense.

It's legit coming from Matt Damon.

Don't think of it as coming from Matt Damon.  Think of it as coming from Private James Francis Ryan.  Or better yet, Jason Bourne.

And if you don't understand the references, you lose your man card.

Of course I do. The Bourne Trilogy and Saving Private Ryan (ironic, considering the OP is named Ryan). I like Saving Private Ryan better. I felt it had a deeper story line.

Saving Private Ryan is the best movie ever made in my opinion.  But, Bourne is a more badass character than Private Ryan.

Raging Bull

All righty then. Guess it's time for me to grow a sac(k). Semper Fi, do or die (with regret).

Good luck. Tell us how it goes.
