Permalink Reply by Mike S. on October 20, 2012 at 1:35pm I would think that a gas grill would put too much direct heat on the meat, causing it too cook to quickly. Even if the internal temperature of the grill is 225, the meat would be too close to the heat source.
Permalink Reply by Jeff Mcintyre on October 20, 2012 at 9:06pm Hey Mike. The trick to this is to not turn all the burners on. If you put the burner at one edge of your grill on and place the meat on the other edge. You are setup for indirect grilling.
