Hey guys, I saw the post on the main page about a guy losing his wedding ring, and I just started thinking about them. I'm really skinny (6'0", ~135-140 lbs.), and so are my fingers. But my knuckles are huge, probably because I always crack them. So my problem is, rings that are big enough to fit over my knuckles sit really loose on my fingers, and it's uncomfortable. Almost all the guys on my dad's side have always stayed skinny, so if I don't fill out anymore, I feel like wearing a wedding ring would be horrible. I have a very nice class ring, but just don't wear it because it's so uncomfortable. Anyone else have this problem? Is there any solution?
I have a similar problem with my wedding ring. I don't know how much this would help you but my original wedding ring was titanium and rather wide (the circle was big). So it always felt like it would come off if i moved my hand too fast. I switched to a thinner, lighter gold ring that was in my family and it's not as bad as before. So I would recommend getting a thinner, lighter ring. I have also heard that there is some type of plastic insert that goes under the ring to make it fit better, but I couldn't find it on google cause I can't remember what it's called. Anyways, Hope this helps.
I have similar hands but not as bad. I have thought about a two part ring. Wedding ring with a liner ring that is split. You put the wedding ring on then add the liner ring in to fill it in. Since the liner ring is split you can force it over your knuckles. Basically it is a ring resizer band.
