Gentlemen,

I was recently thinking about relationships people have in their lives, and I was wondering what is your opinion on rivals.  On one hand rivals can help push you, but they could also be detrimental.

So do you have any stories about rivals? Do you actively seek them or avoid them?

Had I not had a rival in certain areas of my life, I would not have performed the way I had in those areas. However I always had to maintain who I was, just because I wanted to perform at my rivals level or higher did mean I should become him(or her!).

I welcome rivals.

I have always been my biggest rival. So you could say I have a love/hate relationship with my rival
