This is the only guy I really ever see in the Swap Meet forums, and he's constantly selling safety razors. I was just wondering if anyone has actually bought any of his stuff, and whether you got a good deal or not. Anyone care to give him a good review?

SAFETY RAZORS SUCK!
There! I've said it. I feel so relieved, so unburdened! I've always wanted to say that in a thread, but never felt it was ok because so many hold them to be sacred here.....
I'll take a disposable razor any day. If I wanna feel oldschool, I'd use a mug, soap, and brush..... I've got a beard, though, so I just dry-shave my neck and the edges of my mustache with a disposable.
Sorry, know you didn't intend for that to be the spirit of this thread, but I couldn't resist anymore.

Permalink Reply by Tyler M. on May 6, 2012 at 8:11pm Haha, it's perfectly ok. A safety razor wouldn't suit me right now even if I wanted to use it, all I grow is a bit of a mustache and a little bit of hair on my chin. I've just always been curious, glad to know an opinion that doesn't worship them though.

Permalink Reply by Davis on May 7, 2012 at 8:22am I would like to get off Richard's list!! How does one block his "ads?"
Permalink Reply by JonEdanger on May 7, 2012 at 8:29am Good luck. It seems that RICHARD T. ANDREWS' spam posts are just one of AOM's little idiosyncracies that we have to tolerate.
Permalink Reply by Suburban Sentinel on May 7, 2012 at 2:16pm At least he stopped with the "discussions" about razors.
