I love the quote by Walt Disney: "It's kind of fun to do the impossible."

"Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition."

"That's what." -She

"Mistakes are the portals of discovery."
James Joyce

don't take this as pedantic, it's just a common error that no one knows they're making - "quotes" is a verb. "quotations" is the word you're looking for. :)

my favourite quotation, though, is this one from leo tolstoy's family happiness:

"I have lived through much, and now I think I have found what is needed for happiness. A quiet secluded life in the country, with the possibility of being useful to people to whom it is easy to do good, and who are not accustomed to have it done to them; then work which one hopes may be of some use; then rest, nature, books, music, love for one's neighbor—such is my idea of happiness. And then, on top of all that, you for a mate, and children perhaps—what can more the heart of man desire?"

and also an arabic saying:

"Fear most the prayer of the oppressed."

Who is the  oppressed?

the oppressed is the oppressed - whomever feels that they are being oppressed. the abused child, the citizens of a dictatorship, the jew in nazi germany.

The fag in Boise.

"Cope" ~ Golden Stag Theater Group.

Ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders.  -- Jewish proverb

"Beware the fury of a patient man." -- John Dryden

"Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste death but once." -- Shakeaspeare

"A good plan violenty executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week." -- George Patton

"You can always judge a man by the quality of his enemies." -- Oscar Wilde

"We’ve backed off in good faith to try and give you a chance to straighten this problem out. But I am going to beg with you for a minute. I'm going to plead with you, do not cross us. Because if you do, the survivors will write about what we do here for 10,000 years." -Gen. James Mattis, USMC

"Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet." - Gen. Mattis

"I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I’ll kill you all." - Gen. Mattis

"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." - attributed to George Orwell, but technically unknown.

I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I'll kill you all.

--Gen. James Mattis, U.S.M.C.
