Matthew 10:34-39

“Do not think that I came to bring peace on Earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. Mt 5:17-20

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven. I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter into the kingdom of heaven."

I Peter 1:23 "...having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever..."

No one ever got saved apart from hearing the Word of God. Therefore, when we witness, we need to take special care that we quote it ... then the Spirit of God will use his word in that life as he sees fit.

Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. Luke 6:37

It frustrates me when people claim to be "Christian" but yet are so quick to condemn others to hell for not adhering to their personal beliefs. A true Christian would not judge others but only himself.

From Catholic Bible:

Matthew 8:5-8 and 13.

When he entered Capernaum, a centurion approached him and appealed to him,saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, suffering dreadfully.  He said to him, “I will come and cure him.  The centurion said in reply, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof; only say the word and my servant will be healed."

And Jesus said to the centurion, “You may go; as you have believed, let it be done for you.” And at that very hour [his] servant was healed.
