It seems to have become a big thing for many in the recent years (or at least was, some 5 years ago). While I don't buy into the whole SHTF "North Korea invasion of the US" bs, I still think that it's good to have survival skills, after all, you never know when you might need them, you might end up stranded in the jungle after a plane crash or something!
So my question is - is there a prepper website or blog that teaches (or introduces)you a particular skill every day, week, or month? I mean, I want a source that's straight-into-your-face, no-nonsense, no questions asked, without all that vaunted patriotism and paranoia stuff.
hah, good one
I like City Prepping on youtube. He's pretty down to earth and seems to know what he's talking about.
I also think frontier skills that I have learned in a church group I'm in have helped me understand and know how to live a primitive lifestyle. So go back to colonial America and matriculate.
North Korea couldn't invade the US. The fear is that they'll develop an ICBM with a nuclear warhead.
The remake of Red Dawn has NK invading the US instead of the Soviets. If you watch it, do your best fo forget about the original. If you don't, you'll hate it.
And OP states that such is not a concern for him, LJ....
Now that's depressing.
I'll take dealing with The Sorrows of Gin over a Red Dawn any day.
I meant the clothes.
Hey it WAS Flag Day yesterday, lol.
I take it you came up in that time between fears of the nuclear apocalypse and fears of the zombie apocalypse, when the only things we stocked up were disco albums? Should have saved gold instead.
