Yesterday, I wrote a blog on pornography and masturbation. A topic some may see as a little heavy, but one I feel important to address as a man, knowing that men can very easily can get caught up in such a snare. And as men, one must know the dangers of those things which corrupt, or know how to break free from such vices whilst on the path to perfecting manliness.

There can be nothing more destructive for a man that to become embroiled in pornography and masturbation, and yet, it is often not mentioned among us for feelings of shame, guilt, embarrassment and the sense of unworthiness that follows.

A real man must avoid such things, knowing that the end result is a distortion of the world and the opposite sex. It's has the potential to wreck one's character and to stunt one's growth towards real manliness. And yet, once a man gets caught up in such a snare, it then becomes almost impossible to break free.

A man must not believe the stories that this is just a harmless pastime, and that it's ok, because it's what us men do. Men who think this way will often have problems later on in married life, or will ultimately suffer at least some consequences if they are already married.

Please take a look at my blog on 'Pornography and Masturbation.'

I move this thread be converted to a discussion of what kind of stuff we all like to fap to.

I move that this thread be converted to a discussion of why grown men should never use the word 'fap'.

Perhaps "grown men" is the qualifier . . . .

Jack Bauer, grown man: Do you know that secularism is an ideology? Do you you realize that anyone who thinks different from the secularist ideology is discriminated and his initiated discussions censored? You let this discussion of "pornography and masturbation" because it is secular, while you make censorship of mine which is not secular. In many places of the forums the issue of masturbation is repeated, how many different kind of masturbation could be and the answer has to be so different?, and in all these places need answers, I did not posted in all the places, I was tired and only began it as a new discussion. What Jesus said: who belongs to the truth, then he will listen to whom is the Truth, I am the truth, the way and the life, who does not believe in me, he condemns himself. The dictatorship of relativism tolerates all "truths", but it practices zero tolerance for whom is "The" truth and his convictions. Secularism crucifix him again and again. Without the anchor against relativism, and the holly ark no one will be saved. You warned me. He lets you know. I stop here.

Dude, what are you getting high on?

Postscript: In fact, secularism is not only an ideology. The term "religion" comes from religare, relating to the Supreme Being . The secularist humanism, that relativizes all the religions, and puts man at the center, instead of Christ, is the "religion of man" (never the religion of "The Man" - Christ). It is, as I said, the dictatorship of relativism that tolerates all "truths", but it practices zero tolerance for whom is "The" truth. Secularism is an ideology & religion and all these forums are religious.

I'm a Christian, and I don't make the site rules. Whine and sermonize at somebody else.

JB

No one can serve two masters: for he will love the one and despise the other. You can not serve God and at the same time the secularist humanism. I know the sympathy felt by the creators of those rules by the lodges that gradually lead you to the religion of the secularist humanism and I pray for them because they do not seem to be so bad people (YET).

Jack is no secular humanist - nor is he a moderator that I know of. He didn't shut down your other discussion.

At the site owner's request, we try to keep religion, politics, and too much in the way of sex talk off the main page. Those should be reserved for the various groups. If you would like suggestions on which groups may cover a given topic, I'd be happy to help, or you may simply search and peruse them here:

This thread is several years old, and had fallen off everyone's radar. As it is a necro, and quickly spiraling out of control, I'm going to freeze responses from here on out.

Hey Axel, i have never figured out how the church's' teaching thought that Onan was

masturbating when it was withdrawal to prevent a birth. But then most religions use any

scrap of evidence to launch another myth.

John

Did you think that Onanism was only a sin about masturbation?  So you misunderstood. Onanism includes but it is not reduced to masturbation.
