Do you wear a pin on your lapel? Should it be something you wear once in a while or on occasion? I have one pin that I wear, usually on game day's at my alma mater but that's it. I am thinking maybe this would be a nice accent to my daily suits however I don't want it to be tacky or THAT guy.

What are your thoughts, Gents?

I don't see anything wrong with it. I believe it does make a nice accent to a man's suit.

I think it's tacky except on special occasions or for a specific reason (politicians wearing flag pins, coaches wearing school pins, etc...). Wearing one from time to time is fine, especially if there's a reason, but I don't think it would be a good idea for a daily accent.

Well, if you've been legitmately awarded it, there's nothing wrong with that pale blue rectangular one with the five white stars on it.

You damn well better wear that one if you actually have it.

Now, do you mean something like a stick or lapel pin, or do you mean something a bit more flamboyant or daring, akin to a brooch?

Stick pins and lapel pins are classic men's jewelry, and while not currently in vogue are never completely out of fashion; they remain quite appropriate, especially when dressing up.

Brooches as men's jewelry should only be attempted by those who are truly comfortable drawing attention, and who know their own sense of style.  I'm reminded of (Glee) Kurt's hippo brooch in a recent episode.  That character is known to be a bit "out there" stylistically.

what the f**k...

You don't think he looks FABulous?  LOL

Is there *anything* more masculine than a roaring hippo projecting out from your nipple?

Quite dapper.

No. He looks like an idiot

At least it draws attention away from those pants.

Yeah, this is the Art of MANLINESS site isn't it. That ain't it!!

Fine. I always wear a forget-me-not.
