I wear a 30x36, and I've had little luck in finding pants that fit. Lands End is literally the only retailer I've found that sells pants in a 30x36. Levis has them, but only in Shrink-To-Fit, so I can't wash them ever, and so they're not quite slim enough in the leg.
Lands End has done me well but they only have so many options. Can anyone direct me to some good retailers for slim, long pants? I'm mostly after chinos or maybe dress pants but some good slim dark jeans would also be great.
Thanks for any help you can give!

Many Jeans makers (Levis, certainly) also let you order waist/leg combinations online (and list 30/36 as a valid combination with at least a few options).
I used to wear 30/34 and feel your pain (a bit - yours will be a fun size to find). Unfortunately "Big and Tall" stores tend to stock for people who are both, but rarely just one of those.
You could also go the made to measure route - many places like Indochino will let you order just slacks. Not a budget option, of course...

Permalink Reply by Josh on December 4, 2012 at 1:03am I was wondering about the un-hemmed thing. I saw some online today but wasn't sure what it was all about. Are they just super long so pretty much anyone can get the length they need, or are they still measured out depending on the waist size (that is, 30 waist will still be shorter than 34 waist)?
Thanks for the reply!
Permalink Reply by Liam S. on December 4, 2012 at 3:27am Varies a bit by manufacturer in my experience - some do seem longer than others, but certainly getting 34" inseams has never been an issue (and usually looked like a fair amount of material remaining). I cannot truthfully speak for 36", but it is worth investigating.
