I am a new member. I am originally from Scotland but currently live/ work in the Middle East. Looking forward to meeting other members for chat/ discussions.

Yes, I wear a kilt.  I'm of Irish decent on my mother's side.

Awesome!  In all actuality I probably have a little bit of everything.  I know my mother's side but not much about my father's side of the family.

Yeah, two deployments. I spent a bit of time in Dubai on leave on my way to Sydney, but most of it was carrying a gun. Too bad, because the area was fascinating. By the by, I didn't meet a UK troop I didn't like. ;-)

Yea, I go to Dubai quite a lot. Lived/ worked there for a while too.
