Good Evening, gents!

(I'm not sure what time it is in the USA, but on this side of the pond in the UK it's 00:43!)

This coming Thursday I'll be hosting a black-tie pool tournament in my home for myself and my friends before we leave for university.

I'm looking very forward to it. We've sorted out the gameplay, the commentator's are ready, and the competitors are eager.

However, I'm needing ideas for what else to have in the house for entertainment.

Throughout the day, a waiter and waitress will be serving drinks, hot food will be available, there will be live music and also a Nintendo Wii for entertainment.

However, I feel that there needs to be more to keep them entertained.

Has anybody any ideas as to what we could do that people would find fun and entertaining?

Much thanks.

A deck of cards can go a long way at a party. Whether you're playing a casual game with friends, or playing a bit more competitively for money or any sort of prize, I feel that plenty of card games will fit right in with your event.

"I assume you feel the same about sex education.  We wouldn't want people to know how to properly use stuff.  Might give them ideas.  Education is the enemy. JB"

"THAT"s lunacy. Gun education in the public schools. Geez... If you want your kid to go to a military academy, send him. I went, and was trained with riflery there. Not at public school, ever."

"Your point about gun free zones (post offices) is sheer lunacy.  Basically what I'm hearing is you want guns everywhere."

"Well, sort of.  In comparison to men I grew up with from Viet Nam and WWII.   They didn't seem so quick on the draw with answers about witnessing that kind of stuff."
