Hello!  My name is David Johns.  I live in northeastern Maryland near I-95, and I have been involved in the Men's Movement for over 20 years.

In case you're not familiar with the Men's Movement, it grew out of the Women's Movement.  We are not anti-woman.  We are just a group of men who seek to leave stereotypes behind and be authentic, making authentic friendships with other men.  Men so frequently brag about how rich they are, how many persons they've slept with, how big their penises are, etc. etc.  In the Men's Movement we almost never tell each other our occupations so we won't be stereotyped: "Oh, he's a (whatever); I know that they're like."

I have enjoyed spending time with men in a variety of situations, some rather ordinary and some rather unusual.  But as long as every man is honest about himself, we can be friends.  I'm looking forward to AoM being a good site for me to be active in.

I managed to get the breaks un-stuck while driving the car a little, then one night I spaced and used the parking break again, thus re-sticking the breaks. So I decided to check out the problem myself before we go to pay the mechanic for a…See More
