In general, music is purely emotive, but it can be expressive of manliness, eg., the art/industrial rock act Rammstein.
I listen mostly to classical, rock and jazz musics and especially enjoy the art, experimental, avantgarde, industrial and electronic sub-genres. I am passionate about chamber music. Some favourite composers are Bach, Haydn, Beethoven, Brahms, Schönberg, Webern, Messiaen and Xenakis. I also like non-European classical music, primarily Turkish, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese and Indian.

The Black Keys, Alter Bridge, Breaking Benjamin, Stone sour, Chicago, Hendrix (nice pic btw), Zepplin, Three days Grace, U2, Slash, Guns N Roses (use your illusion two and back), Tremontie, red hot chili peppers, AC/DC, Nirvana, Shinedown, and Wolfmother
So tend to lean towards rock.
