Hey guys, I'm having a kid soon and I need some help coming up with a name. If we could discuss some great, strong man names, it would help me out much.
Thanks.

Darn tootin' you like the name Eli.  It's possibly the greatest name ever conceived.

Phallius the Decimator

I'm buying a goldfish just so I can call him that, that or "Scampi."

Jock Stonethrow Anvilbanger.

Kenneth

Isaac

Jacob

Alexei

Roy

Elijah

Kyle

Cal

.....Rambo

My neice and her husband took what I think was an interesting approach for their sons' names.  They used their grandfathers' and great grandfathers' last names - Hogan Ward and Tucker Bennett.

My wife and I are not that creative.  Our son is Jacob Colin.  No connection to previous generations unfortunately.

Urk.

I believe George Carlin put it best http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oo8CrY_ZfFk

Nice

Oh snap

Dig back through yur family history.  You just might find what you're looking for back amongst the great and great-great grandpas.

I got to pick one name for my son so I went with my little brother's name Thomas (who died at the age of 26). My son's name is Ayden Thomas and his nickname is Bug (slowly changing to Big). His nickname came while I was feeding him at o'dark thirty one morning and I was saying "Here's your bottle big-guy" but came out "Here's bottl bug". It kind of stuck after that.
