Permalink Reply by Nick on December 4, 2012 at 9:00am How has no one mentioned Rocky, Rambo, and Braveheart? Those three are like the most manly movies ever created!!
Permalink Reply by Harry P Flashman on December 4, 2012 at 1:10pm The first Rocky definitely, undecided on Rambo. Braveheart, no chance.
Permalink Reply by Jack Bauer on December 4, 2012 at 1:24pm Why not Braveheart?
Rambo qualifies. First Blood is definitely a more in depth movie than the other three ... but all four are definitely guys-guy movies. Blood. Sacrifice. Honor. Really cool weapons.

Master and Commander are a great historic, manly flick.
Permalink Reply by Jack Bauer on December 4, 2012 at 2:31pm Who said you had to like it? The question was about "manly" movies. You said there was "no chance" Braveheart qualified.
Is Braveheart "too black-and-white" to be manly? I don't get it.

Permalink Reply by Harry P Flashman on December 4, 2012 at 7:00pm Lets just say that I find the whole movie so utterly shitty in every detail that I cant see anything that lifts it out as especially manly.
Perhaps with the exception that being hanged, drawn and quartered would be a "manly" way to go. ;-)
