Ok, so, I will NOT buy Levi's again just because of the stupid ad at the top of this page that randomly expands interfering with everything I try to do.

Video ads will loose my patronage , but as for most of the ads on this site are half decent products that I have bought , the big stupid one at the top of the page must be location based as mine is for home land packages or one of the big four banks here , not bothered by it as you scroll down the page anyway and it's gone .

I really more or less try to ignore ads. I wear Wranglers, but Carharts are still made in the usa.

Just a reminder, different users get different AoM ads based on your AoM profile as well as your browsing history beyond AoM. A great way to keep getting a particular annoying ad is to post about it, naming the product and brand. The algorithms think you're very interested in the product.

I get pretty generic/manly ads on AoM before I log in, but once I log in, I often get ads for women's clothes, dolls, cosmetics, etc.

My ads seem to be almost exclusively for wristwatches, often from Macy's.

The ads seem to be targeting me quite well, except for my intense hatred of Macy's.

I don't really mind them. Call me white trash, but the reality is that a lot of the artistic-creative energy that would have gone into paintings, sculptures, tapestries, etc. (now in museums) in past centuries, now goes into ads. They're a bit of pretty on a desk covered in boring white paper and scribbled notes.

Issues come up when I have to print, say, an article from the local paper's website for work. Sometimes I reload the page a couple times to clear out an ad I don't want my boss to see. And when I've googled businesses that are just witnesses, and they turn into opposing parties, and I get the ads after I'm not allowed to contact them. [Professional standards usually allow counsel to search the websites of opposing parties, but the line between browsing and "contacting," which is not allowed, is blurry.]

Yeah.  I called some dufus a "douchebag" once on here.  Got banner ads for feminine products for about a week.  Targeted advertising at its finest.  Heh.

I use google Chrome with AdBlock. I see absolutely no advertisements whatsoever.

I'm on Google Chrome.  Guess I need to use AdBlock.  Thanks.

AdBlock installed...ads are gone.  Thanks again.

I don't mind the ads but that expanding Levi one that you have to close to see the top half of the page is extremely aggravating. Wear Wranglers any how. Anyone that spent anytime in a saddle knows why.

I used to be a huge Levi fan but last couple times I tried them on I didn't like the fit. Used to had Lee, esp as everyone made fun of my name being on them, but beyond that I didn't like their fit. Latest pair of jeans I bought were some Lee jeans, the fit was just perfect, esp for the price.

Well I just bout 2 pair, spending about $100.00 Levis. In the big and tall section.
