Brand new reader of the blog and may have already fallen in love.

My name is Matt and I am a 29 year old father of two little girls and husband of 5 1/2 years to a woman who doesn't even realize how stunning she is. I was born in Canada, raised in Utah, and am currently living in Oregon. I work in State Government (sorry!), but along the lines of policy and programmatic oversight with high needs youth. I am an ex-collegiate athlete, but within the past 2 years have become a "competitive" runner. I love half marathons, just recently completed my first full marathon, and am currently training for my first triathlon.

I have never been a "manly man" (I don't do mechanics, carpentry, or Scotch), but have reached the point where I understand I have much more to do in this aspect of my life as I transition into my third decade of life. I can't wait to start the Book Club, as I have been looking for something along this line and have drawn nothing but blanks.

I can't wait to be involved more with this community and seek out answers from some of the manliest men here!

Banya Men!

Though they aren't common in the United States, Jjimjilbangs, Banyas, Onsens, and Hamams are a great places to hang out.  This is a group for men comfortable in their own skin and appreciate the eastern ideas of public bath houses.See More
