So i've decided to grow my beard and my hair to get this look, what do you guys think? If anyone's curious the dude in the picture is Tom Hardy.

Thanks in advance!!

I think the beard and hair is alright! The sunglasses with the suit need to go!

Ahh I see, of course I don't plan to go about my daily business with the glasses and suit lol, but yeah thanks a lot for your input!

Probably going to have to lift some weights to catch up to Tom Hardy.  His traps are huge ...

The beard look is manly enough.  May not be well-groomed enough depending on what you do for a living, though.  I couldn't go into court with a grizzly beard like that.  I have a fairly thick beard, but its better trimmed than that.

You look pretty intimidating -- need to soften it to avoid scaring small children and ladies!  I'd keep the moustache a little more even, mostly to keep the hair out of the mouth when eating.  But it's a great combo.

Keep the beard quasi-groomed and you're golden! It's a cool look (thumbsup)

Haha very true Jack! i'm a big fella at 6"2 but not as muscular as Tom out of choice lol

Will, I plan to keep the moustache well lined out so it's not going over my upper lip, that would work right?

J & B Thankyou sir!

The beard is a total turn-off to chicks. Looks unkempt. If he'd trim the beard with a handheld set of electric trimmers, and lose a little of the hair oil - his look would be OK.

Not really your type of look is it Wayne?  haha! But I guess everyone has thier own tastes right? Yeah I see what you mean, just a cleaned up version.. Hmm well i'll see how it goes for now, thanks for your input though, greatly appreciated!

My son did the same thing last year and left it that way all winter...when he trimmed it up in at the end of March, he related to me he got lots of comments about his new 'trimmed look' from all his female co-workers. He said "I guess I realise that girls don't really like the Mountain Man Ted Kazinski look." Had to laugh when my wife and daughter both chimed in unison, "You look MUCH better with the beard trimmed!"

Stay strong, Brother. Seeing lots more beards on the young guys these days. Looks good.

Biggles?

Anyone here ever read Biggles, by Cpt. WE Johns? I read the books more than any other books when I was a kid. Biggles taught me more about being a man than anyone else, real or fictional. Had about half of the 95 or so books that were written. Favorites were the WW1 ones, but they were all good.
