This would be the obligatory introduction post.

I'm Will. Have been called variations of my name, variations of other names, unpleasant things, etc... Found TAoM around Thanksgiving of last year, while looking for gift ideas for Christmas. Found some great ideas, and enjoyed the site. Ordered a poster that didn't arrive, but Mr. McKay remedied things in a manly fashion and gained a fan in doing so.

I am currently a house husband. My wife works while I do a horrible job keeping the apartment in order. Disabled due to some arcane happening during heart surgery a few years back, I spend my days cleaning, and trying to come up with ways to improve what little we have.

I like mountains, and oceans, being civilized in the wild places of the world. Have sat on a Florida beach and sipped cheap wine and smoked a cigar in the middle of a hurricane. Have climbed mountains and forded rivers. Lately my greatest accomplishments have been actually getting the dishes caught up, victory where it can be had right?

Am looking forward to being a small part of the community here.

"Now that I am retired I am forced to deal more with a lot of fat/pot-bellied folks. I thought they just had bad diets and didn't workout. I misjudged them. They are planning for the day they have to E&E (evade & escape). Now THAT is…"

"This sounds like an awful lot of work and mental energy. Wouldn't it be easier to become overweight and live off fat reserves?"
