Hello Gentlemen,

I'm a long time reader of the site and have read the excellent Art of Manliness book also. I'll greatly look forward to talking to you all in time.

To give a bit of background information, I'm a young Irishman and I'm very interested in rugby (which I feel has an amazing fraternal community) as well as travelling and seeing new places.

Best wishes to you all from Ireland.

Kind Regards

Irishman

**PS - I know that it may be considered 'unmanly' by some to hide behind an internet moniker. However I believe using a moniker will allow me more freedom to discuss certain topics.

Howdy Irishman and welcome to AoM. No biggie about your moniker; I wish I had bothered to think up somethin edgy when I registered.
Never followed rugby but grew up in one of the most rabid dens of its offspring (American football)- Oklahoma (check out the AoM OU Sooners fans group sometime to see what I mean). There are a lot of sports fans on here so you'll probably run into some fellow rugby aficionados.
Look forward to seeing your posts in the future

Hi Doug,

Thanks for the introduction.
