I found this site while looking for plans for a workbench. I can’t believe the amount of information on this site. I’m a father of 4, 3 of which are boys and this site is exactly what I need to stay on track for my goals of simplifying, getting back to some old fashioned values and even products. I like the barbershop posts. I started cutting my boys’ hair a couple of years ago and have started looking for some of what I remember from my childhood like Clubman Hair Tonic and talc. I’m looking forward to stocking my barber cabinet with some of the items I read about on this site. Thanks for this!

Welcome to the forum, Steve.

Thanks Dennard, lot of great info on this site!

Hello Steve. I have 4 as well. 2 boys, 2 girls.

Rob that's a good mix, I have a brother and 2 sisters.

Glad to meet you.  This site has a wealth of knowledge you can tap into.  Glad you found it.

Glad to meet you too Claude.  There sure is a lot of knowledge here, varied too it seems.  Can't read it all in a weekend that's for sure.

"I normally keep a pocket watch on me. I like them because they require a certain amount of upkeep to maintain and, being a naturally forgetful person, it helped me to discipline that part of me. Also, No Batteries. However, if they break you either…"
