Groomsmen Gift Ideas
I was wondering what everyone got their groomsmen for the gifts? Wedding will be in 7 months and was trying to get ideas together. This will be a low budget wedding so nothing over the top please!

Not a flask. I have one that has been sitting in my cupboard for a year now. (unless the guys would be into that). I personally vote for an engraved pocket knife. That would be awesome, and shouldn't be too expensive.

My husband got his groomsmen nice-looking liquor. It probably tasted good, too, but we went off looks at the blurb on the shelf at BevMo. But his groomsmen didn't get us gifts and haven't contacted us since the wedding, so maybe that was a bad move.
j/k - We wouldn't expect to hear from them in the 3 weeks since the wedding.
I got my bridesmaids an iTunes gift card, camera lens cloth, and work clothes - gifts chosen for the individuals with nothing special or commemorative or matching about them. That's the approach the bridal magazines recommend now.
If you follow the old etiquette books and get your groomsmen the ties, socks, gloves, and/or cufflinks you ask them to wear to the wedding, you still need to get them something they don't have to use at the wedding.

Wallets, Swiss army knives, Leatherman tools, bottles of hooch, tie clips, monogrammed shot glasses, gas money, fishing lures, etc... There is just something about putting on a suit and a new fancy wallet in your pocket that makes you feel more like a gentleman.
I have found fancier versions of some of these on Ebay (and often then the same item online somewhere else cheaper) like bison hide wallets, Swiss army knives with built in drives, carved onyx shot glasses, semi-precious stone tie tack and clips.

I actually got the idea that I'm going with for my wedding this June from this website. I'm getting the groomsmen "book safes" (faux books with hidden compartments).
All of my groomsmen have extremely different personalities/interests so I found something that could work for any of them. I can picture each of them storing something different but enjoying the gift equally.
So I'd say that even if you don't like that idea specifically, try to find something that is versatile.
